Scientists in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Seoul National University recently utilized Schrödinger's Materials Science Suite to help develop a new model of the electronic structure of an exciplex in a solid-state medium. The model accommodates all of the characteristics of the exciplex and will be useful in furthering our understanding of OLEDs and OPVs.
